have yet to figure out why we still need to test crap on animals... but some products don't- mary kay cosmetics is one and paul mitchell in the salon only! is another... it takes effort but the leaping bunny has compiled an entire website devoted to linking others to companies and products not tested on animals...

reduce, reuse, recycle- and added to the mix- refuse. plastic is forever and it's probably one of the most toxic substances on the planet to entire ecosystems. we know now that it's harmful to us- especially when heated.

also, an fyi- forests in asia are being illegally logged to make children's books.
